RideSafe ensures your safety while travelling in a cab, taxi or auto, by automatically detecting a deviation in your route to your destination. This is done via a new algorithm invented by a team of IIT and BITS-Pilani graduates. The algorithm monitors your ongoing cab ride in real-time for any suspicious on-road activity by the driver, and in case of detecting a deviation from route we inform your selected contacts. You only need to enter your destination, and dont need to take any fixed routes. We intelligently understand when your cab is talking an alternate route to say avoid traffic, or when the signal has been lost due to a say a tunnel, as compared to when your driver is trying to cause trouble.
In every trip, you can select a few contacts and we will send them a FREE SMS, with a trip view link. They dont need the app to view the link. On reaching your destination, automagically a second SMS will notify them of your arrival. No more daily missed calls to family on reaching office :)
Meeting a friend? Simply exchange your trip links via SMS/WhatsApp etc. No more calling each other 10 times to ask "Where are you?". Each trip is a new link, so no privacy concerns, and it stops tracking automatically as you arrive on your destination. It just doesnt show your current location, but your path. Your location is communicated to our secure servers over encrypted transport, and never shared with anyone, and used to ensure that you reach home safe!
